I’ve spent nearly twenty years learning what makes people feel something.
Long before Alissa Lawton Design became a studio, my work was rooted in hospitality.
I began my career in hotels, then spent thirteen years creating luxury weddings and events, learning how to anticipate what people need, bring countless details together and create an experience that feels effortless once everyone arrives.
Over time, interiors, styling and floral artistry became new ways of doing something I had actually been doing all along: creating places where people feel cared for.
Today, that experience comes together through Alissa Lawton Design — in the homes I shape, the stays I help bring to life and the florals I allow to get just a little wild.
THE THREAD THROUGH IT ALL
It was never really about one thing.
Weddings taught me how people gather.
Hospitality taught me how people want to be welcomed.
Interiors taught me how those feelings can live in a place every day.
And flowers taught me that sometimes the most beautiful thing in the room is the thing you let get a little wild.
I’m interested in spaces that feel warm rather than perfect, details that mean something, and design that makes people want to settle in and stay awhile.
My interiors are layered and cozy. My florals are unapologetically wild. And everything I create is meant to make you feel something.
